Shravana-Bela-Gola DeMystified
Sharavanabelagola is a place in Karnataka where the founder of Mauraya Dynasty, Chandragupta Maurya, took his Nirvana. This is a Jain relegious pilgrimage place. It contains the largest monolitic statue of Mahavir Jain (some 645 Ft tall). The Statue is situated at a mountain. A person has to climb some 1000 stairs to reach there !.
